Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking onto any Alice De Soer – Rural Response (“we”) WebinaRR (the “event”). You should understand that by booking any of our WebinaRRs you confirm you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions laid out below and agree to be bound by them.
1) Booking a Place:
a. All Alice De Soer – Rural Response WebinaRRs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In the event that there is a limited number of places at a WebinaRR event, these will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings. Some WebinaRRs may operate a waiting list.
b. Bookings for WebinaRR events will be processed online via the Eventbrite booking platform. Registration of interest can be placed over the telephone, via email or in writing before booking has been opened, but please note that this does not constitute reservation of a place on the WebinaRR and a booking will still need to be made via Eventbrite.
c. All paid bookings made via Eventbrite will be subject to Eventbrite fees, which are included in the displayed ticket price. Please note that where refunds are available, the Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.
d. A booking for a WebinaRR will be activated at the point of placing an order on Eventbrite. When booking via Eventbrite, an email Order Confirmation should be received to confirm the booking, but please note that this does not confirm the event will go ahead.
2) Cancellations and Refunds:
a. You may cancel an event booking if you make such a request in writing via email to alice@alicedesoer.co.uk up to one week (7 days) before the event.
b. Cancellations will be subject to an administrative charge of £25.
c. Please note that Eventbrite booking fees will not be refunded.
d. If you cancel your WebinaRR booking less than one week (7 days) before the date of the WebinaRR no refund will be given for any element of the fee.
e. Alice De Soer – Rural Response reserves the right to cancel WebinaRRs without prior notice such as, for example, if there are not viable booking numbers. In such circumstances a refund or alternative date will be offered.
f. Where the provision of a WebinaRR is disrupted, or where we are unable to deliver a WebinaRR as originally intended due to unforeseen circumstances reasonably beyond our control, we will endeavour where possible, but cannot guarantee, to put in place alternative arrangements. Unforeseen circumstances include, but are not limited to acts of God, strikes, war or acts or terrorism, equipment, transport or transmission failure or damage reasonably beyond our control, or epidemic and/or pandemic or other causes reasonably beyond our control.
g. It may become necessary, for reasons beyond our control, to change the format, programme content speakers or any other aspect of the WebinaRR at any time and for any reason, whether or not due to a force majeure event, in each case without liability. These changes do not justify any refund.
h. Every effort is made to deliver a high-quality WebinaRR. Should there be any significant interference or IT issues or failure affecting the delivery of the WebinaRR, Alice De Soer – Rural Response will endeavour to reproduce the WebinaRR as soon as practicable at not additional cost to the attendee.

4) Exclusion of Liability: The WebinaRR presentation, advice or information given within the WebinaRR, including answers to questions during the WebinaRR, do not constitute legal advice and are intended to be for informational or educational purposes only. Please note that Alice De Soer – Rural Response will not be liable for any inaccurate or misleading information or advice given by the WebinaRR presenter.
